Coming up:
12 Hour Play - February 4th, 2012, 6pm-6am, Washington Hall, Seattle
Salt Horse presents a twelve-hour, non-stop performance with an exquisite
cast of Seattle dancers and musicians. The purpose of this project is to
research the effect of duration and exhaustion on time-based
improvisational scores that focus on the dynamics of a group - their inherent
flux and infinite potential. Audience may observe at any point during the
twelve hours, and stay as long as they like. Audience is also encouraged
to engage creatively through writing or drawing during the performance
and bring cushions/blankets/snacks for greater comfort.
Investigative Movement Practice - Velocity Dance Center, April 2012
Wednesdays 4:30-6, Founder's Studio, $15
Beth and Corrie co-teach this advanced but inclusive class based on
their rigorous creative approach to movement creation and imagistic
improvised scoring.
